From need to certification

The same path for any standard. Explained once, applied to all.

  1. 01DiagnoseUnderstand the organisation, its objectives and gaps.
  2. 02PlanDefine priorities, scope and roadmap.
  3. 03ImplementBuild the management system and operational practices.
  4. 04TrainDevelop internal capability.
  5. 05AuditAssess readiness and identify remaining gaps.
  6. 06PreparePrepare the organisation for the independent certification process.
  7. 07CertifyIndependent assessment by the applicable certification body.

Export Lab prepares. Certification is independent.

Export Lab prepares your company. Certification is carried out independently by a competent certification body. That separation of roles is what gives the certificate its value.

Export Lab is a brand of Angola Global Hub, exclusive DQS Channel Partner in Angola. DQS is one independent certification option, but our preparation work applies across the wider standards and certification ecosystem.

How Export Lab works

The full path, from diagnostic to certification, is described above.

Need more than one standard?

Many companies need ISO 9001 + ISO 14001 + ISO 45001 at the same time, sometimes with compliance, energy or information security. Instead of running disconnected systems, common processes, documentation, responsibilities, audits and improvement mechanisms can be integrated.

Request an integrated system diagnostic

  • A single set of documents
  • One joint internal audit
  • One management review
  • Less effort for operational teams

Not sure which standard is right for your company?

You don't need to start from a standard number. Tell us what your company wants to achieve and we help identify priorities and next steps.

Where should your company start?

Before implementing a management system, you need to understand where the organisation stands today. The Export Lab diagnostic identifies:

  • Current maturity
  • Gaps against requirements
  • Priority areas
  • Potentially applicable standards
  • Implementation effort
  • Recommended roadmap

Frequently asked questions

Do I really need ISO certification?

It depends on the company's objectives, customer requirements, the tenders it bids for, the supply chains it wants to join, the regulatory context and its commercial strategy. Often what the company needs is the management system; certification is the formal proof when the market demands it.

How long does implementing an ISO standard take?

It depends on scope, current organisational maturity, operational complexity and available internal resources. The diagnostic allows realistic timelines for the specific case.

How much does ISO certification cost?

Cost depends on scope, complexity, current maturity, the implementation effort required and the requirements of the certification process. There is no single figure: it is sized case by case.

Can several standards be implemented together?

Yes. Management system standards share the same high-level structure, allowing an integrated system with common documentation, a joint internal audit and a single management review.

Can a small company obtain ISO certification?

Yes, provided it can establish and operate the applicable management system requirements. The system should be proportional to the size and complexity of the organisation.

What happens before certification?

Diagnostic and gap analysis, system design and implementation, documentation, team training, internal audit and readiness assessment. Only then does the certification audit make sense.

Which standard is right for my company?

It starts with the business problem you want to solve and your customers' requirements. Tell us the objective and the diagnostic points out the potentially applicable standards.

We already have an ISO system. Can Export Lab help?

Yes. In those cases we mostly work on gap assessment, improving the existing system, internal audit, training and preparation for surveillance or renewal audits.

Does ISO certification help win contracts?

It can be a customer, tender or supply-chain requirement and strengthens evidence of organisational capability. It does not guarantee contracts on its own.

Your company doesn't need another certificate on the wall.

It needs a management system that works.
